KVKK Disclosure Statement

Within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data

Data Controller

Berkay Şimşek, acting as the data controller ("veri sorumlusu") within the scope of KVKK Law No. 6698. LinkTrack is a trade name operated by this data controller.

1. Personal Data Processed

Identity data (name, surname), contact data (email address, phone number if provided), transaction data (account logs, usage history), marketing data (preferences, survey responses), and the professional details (such as name, title, company and location) of LinkedIn profiles you choose to save with the Chrome extension.

2. Purposes of Processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes: providing and maintaining CRM services, managing user accounts, processing payments, sending service notifications and reminders, improving user experience, conducting analytics, fulfilling legal obligations, and communicating with users.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Processing is based on: (a) explicit consent (Article 5/1-a), (b) performance of a contract (Article 5/1-b), (c) legitimate interests of the data controller (Article 5/1-f), (d) legal obligations (Article 5/1-c).

4. Recipients of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with: Lemon Squeezy (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare Inc. (CDN, security and cookie-free aggregate website statistics), Google Cloud / Vertex AI (AI-assisted structuring of publicly visible profile text into lead fields; processed transiently and not used to train Google's models), and PostHog (product analytics). Our database and file storage are self-hosted (Hetzner, Germany — EU region). Some of these providers are established outside Türkiye and the EU (notably in the United States); accordingly, your personal data may be transferred abroad under Article 9 of the KVKK, subject to the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Data Collection Method

Personal data is collected: directly from you during registration and account use, through the Chrome extension when you click "Get details" or "Save" on a LinkedIn profile you have opened (the profile information shown on that page), through cookies and analytics tools, and from payment processors.

6. Data Retention Period

Personal data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it is immediately deactivated and your identifying account data (name, email address, phone number, and authentication credentials) is irreversibly erased. Content you created (leads, notes, categories) and security logs are retained in a deactivated state and are no longer accessible through the Service. You may request complete and permanent erasure of all remaining data at any time by contacting info@linktrackapp.com; such requests are actioned within 30 days. Data required by law (payment and accounting records) is retained for the legally mandated period.

7. Your Rights Under KVKK (Article 11)

You have the right to: (a) learn whether personal data is being processed, (b) request information if processed, (c) learn the purpose of processing, (d) know the recipients, (e) request correction of incomplete/inaccurate data, (f) request deletion under Article 7, (g) object to processing, (h) request compensation for damages. How to apply: send your request from the email address registered in your LinkTrack account to info@linktrackapp.com, stating your name and your request. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest, in line with Article 13 of the KVKK. If a request requires additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
